  • Jekyll Island is a beautiful island located off the coast of Georgia.

  • The local airport is Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK), about 30 minutes away.

    Larger airports include Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), approximately 1 hour away and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), approximately 1.5 hours away.

  • Jekyll Island is accessible by car via a causeway.

    Guests may rent a car or arrange transportation from the airport via ride-share apps such as Uber or Lyft.

    A parking pass is required to enter the island and can be purchased at the entrance.

  • A car is helpful but not required. The wedding venue and hotel blocks are within walking distance.

  • We recommend staying on Jekyll Island to be close to all wedding events.

  • Our wedding will include several traditional Indian events spread over multiple days, including pre-wedding festivities, the wedding ceremony, and a reception.

  • Indian attire is encouraged and welcomed, especially for traditional events, but Western formal attire is also perfectly acceptable.

  • There are many websites you can order Indian clothes from including Amazon. Some of our favorites include Basanti Kapde Aur Koffee ($), Lashkaraa ($$), Kalki ($$), or Pernia’s Pop-Up ($$$).

  • There are no strict color requirements, but we encourage guests to wear festive, colorful outfits to celebrate with us.

  • Some events are open to all guests, while others may be more intimate or family-only.
